Get to know our president

Rebecca Timmons

President, owner

Rebecca is responsible for the overall management and control of the company serving government, corporate and private clients. She oversees all aspects of the business including finance and budgeting, hiring, firing, and supervision of up 20 employees, subcontractors and union personnel. She prepares bids and negotiates on work contracts. She makes purchases for capital equipment and raw materials. She works with local, state, and federal officials to ensure regulatory compliance. She manages day-to-day operations and assists in general administration. She is the qualifying agent for the company as a Certified General Contractor in the state of Florida. She earned her master’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix. She has over 15 years of construction experience and 30 years of business experience. She is experienced in cost estimating, renovation, and construction for residential and commercial projects.

Keith Timmons

Vice President, Owner

Keith established KBT Contracting Corp. in 1996. Since that time, he has successfully grown the company while maintaining an excellent reputation in the construction community with both clients and vendors. He earned his BA in business administration from the University of North Florida. He has over 35 years of construction experience. Early in his career, Keith worked in construction management for an international building firm. During that time, he had the opportunity to gain experience as a superintendent, construction manager, project manager and sales associate. All of these experiences assisted him to successfully create and run his own construction firm for over 26 years. He has extensive experience managing various projects including: Design/Build, Commercial New Construction, and Commercial Renovation/Rehab. Additionally, Keith has the ability to value-engineer projects to help clients meet budget requirements, while not sacrificing quality. He holds both a Certified Building Contractor license and Certified Roofing Contractor license in the state of Florida and is an additional qualify agent for the company.

Elmo Aquino

Project Manager

Elmo has over 26 years of experience in the construction industry. He has worked in the construction industry since 1995 in such capacities as: laborer, field engineer, assistant superintendent, superintendent, assistant project manager, project manager and recently performed duties and responsibilities as the owner of a construction company specializing in construction management and underground utilities and site development. He is currently licensed as a Certified General Contractor and Certified Underground Utilities Contractor in the State of Florida. He has successfully completed the following training: OHSA 30, USACE CQM, ECATTS, and First Aid. He is responsible for managing projects from Notice to Proceed to final close-out and is the primary point-of-contact to the client.

Don Tant

Project Manager/
Safety Manager

Don has over 26 years of experience in the construction sales and service industry, including estimating, project management, and project scheduling. He oversees projects and assumes responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment for all employees, clients, and subcontractors. He has successfully completed the following training: OHSA 30, USACE CQM, ECATTS, EMC 385-1.1 Fall Protection Competent and Qualified Person, and First Aid.

Michael McArdle

Sr. Superintendent

Michael is able to lead teams as a Field Supervisor. Manages field renovation and construction for residential and commercial projects. Responsible for field quality control and maintaining a strong reputation for delivering a quality product, on time and within budget. Excellent safety record. On site supervision of all employees and Subcontractors. Coordinates and manages each phase of construction to maintain time and budget constraints. Able to solve issues in the field saving time and expense. He has successfully completed the following training: OHSA 30, USACE CQM, ECATTS, HAZWOPR, and First Aid.

Kevin Hardison

Superintendent/Site Safety Health Officer/Quality Control Manager

Kevin works closely with Owners, Project Manager, Subcontractors, and Vendors to ensure all quality and safety standards are being met. He makes suggestions to employees to avoid potential safety issues. Responsible for developing and maintaining Quality Control and Safety Plans and conveying requirements to all site personnel including Subcontractors. Assuring compliance with all Quality and Safety/ Hazardous Materials Regulations. Ensuring all required paperwork is submitted in a timely manner as specified in Contract Documents. Responsible for reporting any accidents to the proper authority. He has successfully completed the following training: OHSA 30, USACE CQM, HAZWOPR, ECATTS, EMC 385-1.1 Fall Protection Competent and Qualified Person, and First Aid.

James Gibbs

Roofing Superintendent/Site Safety Health Officer/Quality Control Manager

James oversees day-to-day operations at the job site primarily for Roofing projects. He works closely with Owners, Project Manager, Subcontractors, and Vendors to ensure all quality and safety standards are being met. He makes suggestions to employees to avoid potential safety issues. Jerry Garrett

Superintendent/Quality Control Manager

Jerry oversees day-to-day operations at the job site primarily on Commercial projects. He takes care of vendor management, inventory, safety, and quality control. He is responsible for managing the work at the job site and reporting daily events and progress. He has successfully completed the following training: OHSA 30, USACE CQM, ECATTS, and First Aid.

Casey Raper

Superintendent / Quality Control Manager

Casey oversees day-to-day operations at the job site primarily on Commercial projects. He takes care of vendor management, inventory, safety, and quality control. He is responsible for managing the work at the job site and reporting daily events and progress. He has successfully completed the following training: OHSA 30, USACE CQM, ECATTS, and First Aid.

Kim Cisco

Office Manager

Kim oversees the office management. She is responsible for maintaining accurate records, paying vendors and subcontractors, keeping insurance up-to-date, and submitting payroll weekly including tax payments and benefits. She assists Project Managers and Superintendents with coordinating deliveries of materials and equipment to the jobsite. Responsible for maintaining security access for personnel on DOD projects. She has over 30 years of experience managing small business daily operations.
